July 30, 2008 - Interior Progress

Notice the wood beams that meet at the top windows.  The open space on the right is the new front door, and the open space on the left is a large window space. On the far right, you can see the framing going up for bathrooms.

July 1, 2008 - Associate Minister office

Rev. Matt Wooster stands in the future location of the new Associate Minister's office, which had previously been part of the old copy room and the coat rack alcove.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Late June, 2008 - Foundation

Late June, 2008 - Remodeling work inside.

The former church office (formerly the parlor, years ago) is cleared out as preparations are made to remodel the rooms on the hallway from the Narthex toward Heritage Drive.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

May 27, 2008 - Digging Begins

With permits in place, the existing awnings, sidewalks, and tree are removed to begin digging the foundation of the Atrium.  The bricks from the walkway are preserved and stored.

 

 

 

 

April 27, 2008 - Groundbreaking Ceremony
The groundbreaking for the Atrium and Building Expansion was celebrated on April 27, 2008. The first shovels were turned by members of the church staff including Pastor Emeritus Rev. Art Arvay, and a representatives of the congregation.
